Regulatory Affairs Associate – Tempe, AZ (BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company)) Job Description Summary: The Regulatory Affairs (RA) Associate is an entry‑level role that provides regulatory support for product lines or regions. Responsibilities include participation in new product development teams, lifecycle support, preparing regulatory submissions for new or modified medical devices in global markets, and communicating regulatory issues to management to inform business decisions. Responsibilities Review product changes to ensure regulatory compliance, assess impact on US and CE Mark requirements, prepare notifications, and communicate changes to global regions. Participate in core teams, provide guidance on regulatory requirements to product development teams, support senior RA team members and participate in regulatory body audits in a supporting role. Support preparation of dossiers and submission packages for regulatory agencies. Review advertising and promotional material for product lines/regions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Maintain regulatory databases/systems with key regulatory data for assigned product lines/regions; interpret data to provide solutions, draw conclusions, and identify trends. Travel up to 25% of the time to support regulatory affairs functions across different locations as required. Minimum Requirements Degree level qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to plan and schedule multiple priorities concurrently. Ability to review, collate, and summarize scientific and technical data. Preferred Requirements Detail‑oriented, methodical, and capable of handling project work with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work independently and complete assigned work with minimal supervision. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Excellent writing and organizational skills.
