A high-volume hospitality and events-driven restaurant concept specializing in premium guest experiences, catering, and private events. The operation is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering consistent service excellence across both restaurant and event environments.

The Assistant General Manager partners with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, staff coordination, and guest experience execution . This role requires strong leadership across FOH and BOH teams, with a focus on service quality, training, compliance, and operational consistency in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Coordinate FOH and BOH teams to ensure efficient service execution
• Deliver high-level guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
• Respond to guest concerns quickly and professionally
• Communicate performance expectations, coaching, and training to staff
• Monitor product quality and assist in vendor evaluation
• Supervise and organize daily shifts and staffing flow
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and company standards
• Train new and existing employees on service standards and procedures
• Support implementation of operational policies and long-term systems
• Maintain and enhance the restaurant’s overall reputation and guest experience
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role
• Strong background in high-volume food & beverage operations
• Solid customer service and leadership experience in a supervisory capacity
• Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards
• Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Toast, Paycom, HotSchedules, Tripleseat, and RESY/OpenTable preferred
• Strong financial awareness and operational understanding
• Degree in Hospitality, Business, or Culinary Arts is a plus
