Make a meaningful difference supporting students by serving in a full-time, contract role as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Situated near Naperville, IL, this position focuses on an elementary caseload where your expertise will help foster positive academic, behavioral, and social-emotional outcomes among young learners.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with elementary school populations is highly valued
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention strategies, and report writing
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and participation in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to build supportive, collaborative relationships with students, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students’ cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop effective support strategies and targeted interventions
- Participate actively in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) meetings
- Write clear, detailed assessment reports and deliver findings in accessible terms
- Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention when needed
- Assist staff in understanding diverse learning and behavioral needs in the classroom environment
