D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., was founded in 1978 and is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. It is engaged in the construction and sale of high-quality homes designed principally for the entry-level and first time move-up markets. The Company also provides mortgage financing and title services for homebuyers through its mortgage and title subsidiaries. D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Sales & Marketing Assistant. The right candidate will support the Sales and Marketing Departments by administering various tasks and projects. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Sales and Marketing Managers with special projects and administrative responsibilities. Manage weekly Sales and Marketing projects, including updating inventory reports, maintaining digital tracking sheets, coordinating sales releases, managing pricing matrices, and ordering sales office supplies. Administer brokerage-related tasks, including creating and maintaining MLS listings, processing MLS billing, and managing relationships with state and local Realtor associations. Prepare materials for and assist in coordinating sales meetings. Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to provide operational and administrative support as needed. Support the Marketing Manager with community launch activities and additional marketing initiatives. Maintain and update the D.R. Horton website to ensure accurate and current content. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within D.R. Horton's internal sales platform (DHI). Develop and manage MLS listing content, including extensive copywriting and property descriptions. Utilize Adobe Photoshop to resize and optimize property photography for MLS listings. Apply knowledge of metadata and Meta Tags to accurately tag photos and enhance website and listing organization. Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner that supports customer satisfaction, company goodwill, and profitability. Work overtime as needed to meet business objectives. Travel throughout communities within the South Washington market as required.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Six months to one year of related experience and/or training. Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license. Ability to create graphic illustrations and marketing flyers in Illustrator and Canva. Strong creative writing skills. Ability to work well within a team and individually. Exercise initiative and be proactive. Possess strong organizational skills. Provide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form or via DRH applications. Proficiency with MS Office and email, as well as Publisher, PowerPoint and Adobe Suite. Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision. The noise level is generally moderate. Preferred Qualifications: Real Estate and MLS Experience preferred. Adobe Creative Suite experience - Photoshop and Illustrator preferred.
