Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida
Compensation: $27.51–$29.33/hour
Hours: 30 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Weekend Rotation: None
Position Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:

• Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on patient goals

• Assist with gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training

• Monitor patient responses and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT

• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and continued progress

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Collaborate with PTs and other members of the healthcare team

• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• New graduates are welcome and will receive compensation aligned with their qualifications and experience
