Drive Production Excellence: Ensure meals are prepped, portioned, and assembled to gold standard specifications (FIFO, allergen control, HACCP compliance, quality checks with scales and sample plates). Innovate and Improve: Drive process enhancements, safety initiatives, and compliance with industry regulations (HACCP, OSHA, USDA, etc.). Optimize Operations: Manage schedules, labor productivity, and costs, ensuring efficiency in a fast‑paced production environment. Inspire Teamwork: Host daily team meetings to foster collaboration and keep everyone aligned with performance and safety goals. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with fellow supervisors, production leads, and warehouse teams (pick, pack, ship) to ensure seamless operations. What We Look For in a Candidate Proven Leadership Experience: 2+ years as a supervisor in food production, manufacturing, distribution, or meal prep facilities. Hands‑On Management Style: Comfortable being on the floor, directly engaging with staff, and resolving issues in real time. Operational Expertise: Skilled in scheduling, inventory management, labor planning, and production flow. Industry Knowledge: Experience in airline catering, meal kit production, or large‑scale food operations strongly preferred. Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with HACCP, OSHA, USDA, FDA, and allergen control protocols. Union Experience: Prior experience supervising in a unionized environment is a plus.
