Two Speech-Language Pathologist opportunities are available covering maternity leaves in a vibrant educational setting near Olympia, WA.

Assignment Details:

• First position: Full-time starting September 4th through January 31st.
• Second position: Part-time, 2 days per week, beginning as soon as possible through the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure for practice in Washington State.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
• Demonstrated school-based experience working with diverse student populations.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to consult with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy to students, both individually and in group settings.
• Administer speech, language, and communication evaluations as needed.
• Write and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and necessary documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participate in school team meetings and effectively communicate recommendations.
• Provide resources and guidance to school staff and families to support students’ continued success.
