Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in or around Grants Pass, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Perform structural framing and general carpentry work
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and layout drawings
- Perform layout and framing according to project plans
- Lead and supervise a carpentry crew
- Assign and coordinate daily tasks
- Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades on site
- Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Work in both interior and exterior environments
Requirements:
- Journeyman-level carpentry experience
- Strong structural framing background
- Must have tools and PPE
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and layout drawings
- Experience leading or supervising carpentry crews
- Ability to perform layout work and work independently
- Strong understanding of job-site safety and construction practices
- Reliable and looking for continuous, full-time work
