Loan Officer Associate

Lennar - Loan Officer Associate The Loan Officer Associate assists Loan Officers while developing skills and knowledge to become a Loan Officer in the future. The role includes completing online and classroom educational sessions and receiving operational and hands‑on training. Responsibilities Participate in formal training programs covering lending, loan types, creditworthiness, and the loan approval process. Train with manager on mortgage rate sheets to learn accurate pricing and locking of loans. Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports to understand the overall mortgage process from application to closing. Successfully complete testing for mortgage licensing and obtain appropriate state licenses as required. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of RESPA through continuing education courses. Update loan applications with missing data, maintain notes within the Loan Origination System, and provide initial file setup when needed. Participate in builder and realtor functions to develop and maintain relationships; support local marketing campaigns with Division Manager and Loan Officers. Ensure borrowers can reach out through phone, email, or chat and receive prompt responses; act as primary contact between borrowers and their Loan Officers. Assist processors and closers in procuring loan documents from borrowers and other entities; engage and assist internal associates via phone, email, or chat. Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (BA or BS preferred). Mortgage or banking experience (preferred). Experience articulating product or service features, benefits, and value. Strong customer‑centric attitude and passion for exceeding customer satisfaction. Exceptional organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours is essential. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in confined quarters, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and/or carry equipment that may exceed 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
