Auto Body Technician

*Duties*

* Perform automotive collision repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication repair techniques.
* Utilize MIG / MAG welding, welding repair, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately.
* Conduct auto body repairs such as sanding, auto painting with airless paint spraying systems, and automotive cosmetic repairs to achieve a flawless finish.
* Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision using hand tools and power tools.
* Apply auto estimating skills to assess damage, prepare repair plans, and communicate effectively with customers about repair progress.
* Use automotive parts installation techniques to ensure proper fitment and alignment of repaired or replaced components.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards during heavy lifting and the use of power tools.

*Skills*

* Proven experience working as an automotive body technician within a dealership or collision repair environment.
* Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto restoration, and sheet metal fabrication.
* Skilled in MIG and MAG welding, welding repair, soldering, and using automotive welding equipment for various repair needs.
* Proficiency with sanding tools, auto painting equipment (including airless paint sprayers), and detailing techniques for automotive refinishing.
* Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto glass installation, and automotive parts installation.
* Familiarity with auto estimating processes and customer service skills for effective communication with clients.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working with power tools and hand tools in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
