Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis within Agile teams and a proven ability to translate business needs into clear, testable user stories and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary interface with business partners, solution architects, and cross-functional technology teams.
• Analyze current processes and systems to assess business models and technology integration.
• Elicit, document, and refine business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to evaluate features, define epics, and write effective user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Document business rules and identify enablers, dependencies, risks, and mitigations.
• Partner with developers to review technical designs and ensure alignment with requirements.
• Support SIT and UAT by clarifying requirements and distinguishing defects from new requirements.
• Contribute to process refinement and continuous improvement within Agile Scrum teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience with strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to elicit requirements, map process flows, and define solution strategies.
• Demonstrated experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements.
• Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria and communicate them to developers and testers.
• Experience supporting SIT and UAT and triaging defects versus new requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication and facilitation skills.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision and effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze existing capabilities, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
• Working knowledge of Agile tools such as JIRA and 3+ years of practical Agile experience.
• Experience as a Product Owner or in close partnership with a Product Owner to define business needs.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in refining and optimizing business processes.
• Experience collaborating with cross-organizational architecture and engineering teams.
