Job Overview A law firm seeks a Housing Finance Associate in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of legal experience in commercial real estate finance, with strong academic credentials. Experience with multifamily lenders and programs such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA is advantageous. Responsibilities Engage in commercial real estate finance transactions. Review title insurance and surveys. Participate in loan origination and servicing. Collaborate with clients and team members. Contribute to marketing and business development efforts. Requirements 2-5 years of legal experience in commercial real estate finance. Active bar license in Maryland, Minnesota, or D.C. Experience with multifamily lenders preferred. Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active bar license in relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
