Blender / Extrusion Operator

Pay: $19/HR
Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | Mon–Fri (Training on 1st shift)
Location: Houston, TX 77041
PPE: Steel-toed boots required

The Blender mixes and pre-forms materials for thread seal tape production. Core Responsibilities:

Mixing & Pre-forming: Weigh and measure PTFE resins, pigments, and lubricants; operate pre-forming equipment to create billets for extrusion.
Extrusion Operation: Set up and operate extrusion lines, ensuring continuous product flow using correct tooling and dies.
Quality Control: Use gauges, calipers, and micrometers to verify products meet exact specifications.
Inventory & Logistics: Move resin drums to storage, maintain accurate material records, and tag finished jumbo rolls.
Maintenance: Clean and inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe, optimal operating conditions. INCLUDING SWEEPING/CLEANING/DETAILING AREA.

Qualifications:

Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs frequently.
Physical capability to stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
