- The ADA Compliance Expert will be responsible for ensuring that all organizational documentation, digital content, and communication materials meet the standards set forth.
- This role requires expertise in accessibility compliance, document remediation, and inclusive design practices.
- Document Conversion: Convert existing documentation (PDFs, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) into ADA-compliant formats, ensuring accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
- Accessibility Audits: Review and audit organizational documents, websites, and digital content for compliance with ADA and WCAG standards.
- Proven experience in converting regular documentation into ADA-compliant formats.
- Strong knowledge of ADA, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
- Proficiency with accessibility tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Pro for remediation, screen readers like JAWS/NVDA).
- Experience in document structuring (headings, lists, tables, hyperlinks) for accessibility.
- Ability to conduct accessibility testing and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills for training and collaboration.
