Role Description The Accounting Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio, TX. This role is responsible for performing daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, processing invoices, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The Accounting Clerk will assist with preparing financial reports, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role includes working with accounting software to ensure accurate data entry, organizing financial records, and collaborating with the finance team to maintain compliance with company policies and procedures. The Accounting Clerk will also respond to internal and external inquiries related to billing, payments, and account balances. Qualifications Proficiency in Accounting Software and related digital tools to manage daily financial transactions and records. Strong Bookkeeping skills for maintaining ledgers, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts. Solid understanding of Finance and Accounting principles to support accurate reporting and compliance. Ability to assist in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and other routine financial reports. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and responding to inquiries. Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing) and data entry. High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certification in accounting or finance is preferred.
