We offer a confidential, caring environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, social skills, and personal growth that is monitored in a safe environment 24 hours a day 7 days a week.Age Group/Range: adults; child/adolescent if neededPractice Setting/Type: inpatientSchedule: Full time; Monday – Friday; 8am – 5pm; flexibleCompensation: $130,000yr - $150,000yr DOEProvides initial and annual history and physical evaluation, assesses eligibility for treatment, evaluates patients' history of dependence on opioidsOrders appropriate laboratory studies, reviews laboratory results and provides necessary education, referral and / or follow up services to patientsMonitors the treatment plans of high-risk patientsPrescribes medication for the treatment of substance abuse according to patient need as allowed by state regulationConsults and collaborates with Medical Director to plan and implement care according to facility GuidelinesReports and documents significant patient issues and adverse eventsCommunicates pertinent information to appropriate members of the health care teamCollaborates with Medical Director to optimize quality and efficiencyEnsures that the program and employees' transactions and activities are in full compliance with all laws and clinic legal compliance program policies and standards of conductPerform other duties as assignedEducation & Experience RequirementsMinimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing APRN preferredPrevious experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities preferredFamiliarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone preferredFamiliarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards)No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employmentLicenses/Designations/CertificationsAdvanced Practice Registered Nurse preferredLicensed to practice in the state in which the practitioner is workingDEA licenseOur Comprehensive Treatment NetworkAs a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services in the United States and Puerto Rico, Acadia Healthcare operates 258 treatment facilities across 38 states.
