About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Programs for its US Property and Casualty Programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership, profitability, and development of the MGA partnerships within the US Programs portfolio. This role involves managing a talented team, driving profitable growth, and working closely with various internal functions to deliver market-leading program solutions. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the long-term US Programs strategy, managing the performance and profitability of the MGA portfolio, and building strong relationships with MGA partners and brokers. The Head of Programs will also be expected to lead the launch of new delegated authority programs, ensure underwriting excellence, governance, and compliance, and represent the business in the market to identify new growth opportunities. Applicants for the Head of Programs position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in underwriting US Property and Casualty Programs or Delegated Authority business, with a proven track record of leadership and managing profitable portfolios. The role requires a candidate with strong commercial acumen, business development skills, and a deep understanding of the US insurance market and regulatory environment. Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential.
