Global Executive Talent Scout- R&D
AstraZeneca
AstraZeneca seeks a Global Executive Talent Scout for R&D to lead executive hiring and succession planning. This role spans strategic talent acquisition, market intelligence, and stakeholder partnership to build high-quality leadership pipelines aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end executive hiring, succession pipeline development, and market mapping for Executive Director and senior roles
- Translate business needs into talent strategies with risk-based contingencies and build/buy recommendations
- Engage VP and SVP stakeholders to align on success criteria, assessments, and hiring decisions
- Track and communicate impact on pipeline depth, diversity, conversion rates, and succession readiness
- Manage preferred search partner relationships, setting scope, SLAs, inclusion standards, and performance monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8+ years in executive search, talent acquisition, or HR in complex environments
- Executive recruitment experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industry
- Proficiency with ATS/CRM systems (Eightfold, Workday, or similar)
- Track record delivering diverse, high-quality candidate slates with strong conversion rates
- Experience managing external search partners and vendor performance to SLAs
- Strong executive presence, credibility, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to assess senior talent and articulate competitive compensation strategies
