Network Operations Center (NOC) Trainer. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Network Operations Center (NOC) Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for NOC staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot our network infrastructure. Full-time Responsibilities: Develop and maintain training materials and lesson plans, including presentations, hands‑on exercises, and documentation for NOC procedures and best practices. Conduct classroom and on‑the‑job training sessions for new and existing NOC staff. Assess training needs and design curriculum to address skill gaps. Stay up‑to‑date with the latest processes, network technologies, tools, and industry trends to ensure training content remains relevant. Collaborate with NOC managers and team leads to identify areas for improvement in staff performance. Create and administer tests to evaluate trainees’ comprehension and skill levels. Provide ongoing mentorship and support to NOC staff. Develop and implement strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Assist in the creation and maintenance of NOC standard operating procedures (SOPs). Qualifications: Required: Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years’ of related work experience Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs. Strong knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easy‑to‑understand manner. Experience with remote training tools and virtual classrooms. Strong organizational and time management skills Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management best practices. Certifications in training or instructional design (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)). This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
