Certified Nursing Assistant - (CNA)

Senior Helpers - Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our professional team. In this capacity, you will deliver exceptional care and support to our senior clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being within the familiar setting of their own homes.
Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life
• Accurately monitor and document vital signs, promptly communicating any changes in health status to the nursing staff
• Offer companionship and emotional support to create a positive and nurturing environment
• Assist with medication management in accordance with healthcare professional directions, ensuring timely and precise administration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly living environment for each client
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and address any concerns

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• Previous caregiving experience or a related role is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, reliability, and a strong work ethic
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screening is mandatory
