USC/GC/GC EAD Only- W2 Requirement

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a hands-on Backend Java Developer to support a highly technical internal Fraud Risk application . The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing enterprise backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, AWS, and SQL .

This role requires strong application development, debugging, production support, and cloud experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot .
  
• Build and maintain scalable microservices and REST APIs .
  
• Develop and support applications running on AWS .
  
• Work with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, and EKS .
  
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot database issues.
  
• Troubleshoot application and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  
• Support batch-processing applications and data workflows.
  
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, compliance, and business teams.
  
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and development activities.
  
• Contribute to application reliability, performance, and maintainability.
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot .
  
• Strong experience developing microservices and REST APIs .
  
• Hands-on experience with AWS .
