We provide paid training to help you succeed in your new role.What We OfferStarting pay of $18.00 per hourPaid training and orientationLimited staff-to-individual ratiosA supportive team environmentOpportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of othersQualificationsApplicants must meet the following requirements:Be at least 18 years of agePossess a high school diploma or GEDHave a valid driver's licenseMaintain an acceptable motor vehicle historyMeet applicable criminal background clearance requirementsJob ResponsibilitiesAs a Residential Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Build positive, respectful relationships with the individuals we support through meaningful communication and interaction.Assist individuals with daily living skills, personal care, and activities that promote independence and improve their quality of life.Support individuals in achieving personal goals and participating in community activities.Administer and document medications in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations following required training.Prepare meals and assist individuals with meal preparation based on their needs and preferences.Assist with the general upkeep and maintenance of individuals' homes and living environments.Provide transportation to appointments, community outings, and other activities using agency vehicles while following established procedures.Conduct fire drills and follow agency safety and emergency preparedness procedures.Follow agency policies regarding the handling and documentation of individual and household funds.Maintain accurate documentation and communicate important information to appropriate team members.Physical RequirementsThis position involves frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, squatting, and bending.
