MAINTENANCE LEAD (Supervisor to small team) Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor in the Baytown area. In this high-impact and collaborative role, you will be responsible for leading a small maintenance team, keeping critical production machinery running smoothly, and working directly with the plant manager to track preventative maintenance schedules. In a Maintenance Supervisor job you’ll be responsible for: Repairing electro-mechanical machinery - production, cutting, packaging, etc. Manage maintenance inventory tracking, lead parts procurement, and connect with vendors for orders. Tracking preventative maintenance to minimize emergency downtime Coordinating and overseeing specialized external technicians. Handling light building maintenance, as needed. What you’ll need: High personal accountability and a "get the job done" mindset Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics Strict commitment to safety protocols (no cutting corners) Background in a machine shop, wood shop, or manufacturing environment Direct hire opportunity, full benefits!
