Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

City/State: Liberty, Missouri

Shift: 12-hour nights, 19:00-07:00 or 18:45-07:15

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 07/06/2026 or 07/20/2026

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to provide specialized care to patients. Responsible for managing the care of patients with complex conditions in a unit that focuses on cardiac and other progressive health issues.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and interpret vital signs
Administer medications and intravenous drips
Assist with procedures involving patients with arterial lines and bipap-airvo
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care
Provide patient and family education on care plans
Float to lesser units as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of PCU RN experience
Current RN license
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, and bipap-airvo preferred
