Construction Project Manager - Signage

Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager specializing in signage projects, particularly focused on Blink signs. The ideal candidate will have extensive construction management experience, a strong understanding of payment applications, schedules of values, and a proven track record of collaborating effectively with general contractors. This role is crucial for ensuring successful project execution from initiation through completion. Key Responsibilities Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of signage projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including general contractors and subcontractors, to facilitate smooth project operations. Prepare and manage payment applications, ensuring timely submission and processing. Develop and maintain the schedule of values for each project, tracking expenses and budget adherence. Scheduling: Create and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines. Conduct regular scheduling meetings to assess progress and resolve any potential delays. Quality Control: Ensure all signage installations meet safety regulations and quality standards. Conduct site inspections and oversee work performed by subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Foster strong relationships with general contractors and other key partners to enhance collaboration and project success. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, specifically with signage projects. Proven experience working with general contractors and understanding their workflows and requirements. Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project). Strong understanding of construction documentation, including contracts, specifications, and drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
