• Professional Topics & Skills REQUIRED: Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol & Pain assessment & management
• Certs: ALS, BLS & PALS

• Work Setting Skills: Pedi PACU, Phase I PACU & Phase II Recovery Surgery Cases
• Skills: ENT, General & Ophthalmology
• ENT Skills: Tonsillectomy Medications
• Skills: Emergency Medications, Narcotics/Opioid Analgesics & Reversal agents
• Ophthalmology Skills: Cataract extraction/implant & Eye Trauma
• Pediatrics Skills: Management of pediatric patients

• Types of Anesthesia Skills: General, Local & Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC)

JOB DETAILS:

• Avg. Daily Census: 40; Visits/Day: 40; Rooms/Beds: 9
• Unit closes 11/25/2026. Required End Date.
• SHIFT: 8HR Days only. Will consider 4x8s or 5x8s.
• 8-HOUR DAYS 06:00 - 14:30 & 07:30 - 1600; RN will be working a mix of these 2 shifts. Prep starts at 06:00 and PACU at 07:30
• RTO: 7 DAYS MAX for AYA AUTO OFFER
• Call Requirement: NONE.
• Float Requirement: YES. Would float to other Charlotte area ASCs only if needed and probably very rarely. COSC, Ballantyne ASC, Huntersville ASC & Center City.
• Weekend Requirement: NONE.

PATIENT AGE GROUP: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults & Geriatrics

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Eye/ENT patients

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: BMTs, tonsils, adenoids, sinus, cataracts

UNIT SYSTEMS: We do not have a computerized system

SCHEDULING TYPE: Per the Unit Needs

UNIT ORIENTATION: 3 days on the unit

SCRUBS: Provided
