Description – What You'll Do

• Evaluate test results for correctness, address discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analytical testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedural steps, provide training to new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high-quality lab standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, upholding regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of your start date.
• Ongoing maintenance of your certification throughout your employment.
