You represent our quality, reliability, and care at the door.Earnings at a GlanceBase pay: $20.00 per hour to startBase wage escalator: Up to $2.00 more per hour based on delivery volume and hours workedTips: Typically $1.00 to $3.00 per hourCell phone reimbursement: $0.25 per hourMileage reimbursement: $0.72.5 per mileTypical pace and distance: About 4.5 deliveries per hour at 4.0 miles per delivery on averageFully baked equivalent per hour using these averagesStart rate before tips: $33.03 per hour. This includes base pay, cell phone reimbursement, and mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile.Start rate with typical tips: $34.03 to $36.03 per hourWith max escalator: $35.03 per hour before tips, $36.03 to $38.03 with typical tipWhat You Will DoArrive at the assigned Thistle location at your scheduled shift start with a fully charged smartphone and sufficient fuelVerify that all items are accounted for before leaving for deliveriesUse our delivery app to complete assigned stops and follow customer instructionsCollect return bags and ice packs and return them to your pickup location at the beginning of your next shiftCommunicate clearly and consistently with our dispatch team to keep routes movingWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalentA valid driver’s license and a clean driving recordProof of insurance that includes liability and bodily injuryA reliable, clean, well-maintained vehicle with capacity for multiple medium-sized bags of meals, snacks, and beveragesA reliable smartphone and comfort with using mobile technology for routing and instructionsThis position requires the ability to understand and follow safety instructions, standard operating procedures, and work directions as provided in English to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to manually lift, carry, pull, or push objects up to 50 poundsOur CultureDiversity, equity, and inclusion are core values at Thistle.
