Accounts Receivable Specialist

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will ensure customer payments are received promptly, in full, and applied correctly to customer accounts to confirm accounting records and cash flow are accurate and up to date. SalaryOverview: The pay rate for this role starts at $22 per hour based on experience. Hours: The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities Include: Apply customer payments daily via check, ACH, or credit card. Answer requests for statements, invoices, and account questions via phone and email when requested. Follow up with customers weekly to collect past-due balances via email or phone. Communicate with TSMs/Sales Managers to collect A/R aging balances via email or phone. Reconcile payments to statements to determine which invoices are unpaid. Work with customer support to determine why invoices are unpaid and resolve those issues. Process weekly refund checks for credit balances on accounts. Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision. Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications and Skills: Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills. Must be customer service oriented. Must have exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills. Must be a self-starter. Must be a reliable team player. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook applications preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
