Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Location: Lubbock, TX Duration: 13 Weeks Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac monitoring skills, experience managing medically complex patients, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data. Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed. Identify changes in patient condition and respond appropriately. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning. Support evidence-based nursing practice and patient safety initiatives. Float within scope of practice to support patient care needs as required. Requirements Experience Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience required. First-time travelers accepted. Acute care hospital experience preferred. Licensure & Certifications Active RN License required. BLS Certification required. Additional telemetry-related certifications preferred. Skills & Qualifications Cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring. Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills. Ability to manage multiple patients in a high-acuity environment. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
