The Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Division of Administrative Services, is recruiting for an Accountant 3 located in Juneau! No Cover Letter Required! This position is in the General Government Unit (GGU) at a Range 18.

What You Will Be Doing: This position helps manage federal revenue, financial reporting, and accounting for federal awards from application through closeout. The role processes, bills, and distributes federal revenues in IRIS and helps ensure financial reports are accurate and submitted on time. This position works with federal agencies and staff across the department to keep grant-related financial information organized and up to date. It also helps answer questions and provide guidance on federal grant rules and requirements.

The Working Environment You Can Expect: The position is located in Department of Labor and Workforce Development building at 1111 W. 8th Ave Ste 308, Juneau, Alaska 99801. The building sits along the Gastineau Channel next to the Sea Walk and Whale Sculpture. The office has a beautiful view of Mt. Juneau and downtown Juneau, and offers ample parking.
