Finance Coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical financial support to the Directors of AWARE. Review and process bi-weekly payroll and ensure proper coding of time worked and grant allocation Responsible for processing AWARE retirement contributions including Base and Match payments within retirement online reporting system, and reconciling to payroll processor reports. Approve all accounts payable within the QuickBooks accounting system. Finalize all AP payments and obtain approval signatures. Responsible for all AR entries of AWARE housing rental units and donations. Oversee the maintenance of the AWARE donor database and fundraising platform. Manage, enter and update donations and other mailing lists and records. Prepare credit card reconciliations for Accountant, ensuring all charges have been documented in purchase order system. Retrieve and organize documentation for financial reports and provide to Finance Director as requested. Manage workflow process of purchase order system. ADMINISTRATIVE/ADVOCACY DUTIES Provides advocacy, answers crisis line, and assists with client service delivery when needed. Perform all record-keeping activities as required for data collection or inter-staff communication. Report all cases of suspected abuse or neglect of children, elders or individuals with disabilities to the Office of Children Services, Adult Protective Services and JPD as required. Comply with AWARE Personnel and Administrative Policies. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must have high school diploma/GED. Must have/be willing to acquire a CPR and First Aid Certificate. Must have 2 years of experience with QuickBooks (QB Online preferred) or other financial software AND work experience in financial management. Must have a thorough understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault and the needs of victims or the willingness to learn. Must possess knowledge, skills and experience in personal computers and various software including spreadsheets and word processing, filing systems Must have the ability to remain objective and to perform under stressful conditions. Must have the ability to understand and communicate with people of different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Must maintain confidentiality and support AWARE's Mission and Philosophy Must be willing to be fingerprinted and pass a background check DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Experience with FLSA and payroll procedures and experience with online third-party payroll processing Experience with grants management/allocating allowable costs SALARY SALARY:$30+/hour; 40hrs/ week + benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
