Key Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon Teaching Certification
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students
• Ability to tailor instruction and interventions for students with a variety of learning needs
• Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, collaborating with paraprofessionals, families, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver special education services to a caseload of 32 elementary students
• Teach in both dedicated special education settings and integrated classroom environments
• Collaborate with general education teachers and paraprofessionals to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in line with federal and state guidelines
• Adapt instructional techniques to meet the unique needs of each student
• Communicate regularly with families and team members regarding student growth and needs
