Position Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol – Cleveland, OH Job Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.40 / Hour Schedule Tues: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Wed: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Thur: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Fri: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, screen visitors as directed by site procedures, and support an orderly environment for patient care operations and/or facility activities. Assist with security‑related support during medical emergencies, alarms, evacuations, and/or other critical events while following post orders and site protocols. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
