Anesthesiologist Opportunity Compensation and sign-on increase for our Anesthesiologist opening with Riverside Hampton Surgery Center, the vacation and convention destination, Hampton, VA. The Riverside Hampton Surgery Center in Hampton, VA, is a member of Riverside Health Systemand a department of Riverside Regional Medical Center. It offers area physicians the option of an ambulatory surgery location. Here, surgeons perform a range of procedures in the areas of orthopedics; gynecology; ear, nose, and throat; ophthalmology; podiatry; and general surgery. Team Leadership: Rafael Ramirez-Caussade, MD Team Highlights: Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtain and/or verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements: M.D./D.O.
