Shipper / Receiver I (Packing Focus) 
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA
Pay Rate: $19.80 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Packing experience and computer proficiency required Position Summary:
As a Shipper / Receiver I, you will perform all functions associated with material movement through the Distribution Center, primarily focusing on packing. This includes handling, paperwork, operating warehouse equipment, and recordkeeping. You’ll follow all procedures, support quality and safety, and accurately handle products to achieve total Customer Satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform packing functions by reviewing SAP packing instructions and ship sets
• Print and apply labels as required by customers and follow 107 specifications
• Prepare cartons and pallet loads for shipment, attach required documentation, and generate bill of ladings using SAP
• Pick products for customer orders using barcode scanners, pick tickets, and manual/electric pallet jack
• Receive product into SAP using barcode scanners or computers
• Check and sort incoming products, then put away using order pickers, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners
• Follow all DC and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Accurately complete paperwork, unit load transfers, and audits; handle hazardous/flammable materials per established procedures
• Utilize handheld barcode scanners and SAP software for all tasks

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience in a high-volume distribution center or logistics environment preferred
• Packing experience required; computer proficiency (including SAP) required
• Manufacturing experience and SAP experience are pluses
• English proficiency (reading and writing); effective communication skills
• No forklift experience required

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs safely; occasionally 51–75 lbs with help
• Stand/walk on concrete floors for extended periods (6–10 hours)
• Operate order pickers, turret trucks, manual/electric pallet jacks, and related equipment
• Work at heights up to 30 ft (with safety harness/fall protection)
• Perform repetitive motions; work in uncontrolled temperature environments
• Wear steel-toed safety shoes and other required PPE

Other Requirements:

• Attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Compliance with all internal safety and PPE policies
