The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and guest-focused individuals to join our team for Magical Winter Nights - a spectacular after-hours holiday event that transforms the Museum into a glowing celebration of light, sound and surprise.
We're hiring Seasonal Cashiers to work in Guest Facing positions throughout the experience. If you love creating memorable experiences, thrive in fast-paced event environments, and bring a positive attitude, we want to hear from you!
This is a seasonal, temporary position running from mid-October through January 5th, 2027. This role will work 3-4 days/week. The weekly scheduled hours for this position are varied based on operational needs. You can generally expect to work 20-30 hours a week, but these hours may fluctuate. Perfect for someone with a passion for events, customer service, and a touch of holiday magic!
Job Class: Part Time Hiring Range: $20.00/hour Work Schedule: 3-4 days/week. 20-30 hours/week. Direct Reports: 0
Essential Duties
- Sell and scan event tickets
- Greet and welcome guests to the experience
- Provide clear directions and event information
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the event
- Complete merchandise sales accurately and efficiently
- Restock merchandise and maintain displays
- Assist with daily set up
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience
- 6 months' experience in customer service, hospitality, events, or related experience
- Magical Winter Nights is an evening event. Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required including December 24, December 31, and January 1.
