The Opportunity with McKinstry
The Strategic Program Manager – Safety is a highly visible, enterprise role responsible for shaping how McKinstry keeps its people and workplaces safe across a growing national footprint. This role partners closely with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) leadership, Facilities, and business stakeholders to lead and scale critical safety programs—bringing structure, clarity, and consistency to how safety is executed across offices, fabrication shops, and field environments.
This position serves as the enterprise lead for emergency management, driving the evolution of McKinstry’s emergency preparedness framework to a more cohesive, scalable program. As the role matures, you will also take on broader EHS program ownership, helping to strengthen enterprise-wide initiatives and continuously improve McKinstry’s overall EHS management system.
This is a unique opportunity to build, operationalize, and sustain programs that directly impact employee safety at scale—while working cross-functionally, engaging teams across McKinstry’s national footprint, and traveling up to 50% to support sites and drive consistent execution.
