Job Description
Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30). Shift may be subject to change to 12:00 - 20:30 when needed. Flexibility in schedule adjustments is required. Weekend requirement is 1 every 6 weeks.

Assignment Details

Floating between departments is required as needed.

Requirements

• 1 year of radiology experience required; experience in IR, ICU, or ER also accepted if paired with radiology experience.
• Active license required at the time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Strong IV placement skills and previous critical care experience are required.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory; no declinations or exemptions are allowed.
• Must work 3 out of 5 holidays and request time off must be 10 days or less with none within the first 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in the interventional radiology setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to any changes or emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Assist with procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout interventions.
