CT Technologist

Summary CT Technologist, Part Time, Second Shift – Monday to Friday 5:00pm–10:30pm Call and Holiday Rotation. With limited supervision, executes computed tomography and radiographic images. Gathers histories and prepares needed information to complete the patient’s record. Notifies appropriate persons for equipment services and preventive maintenance. Orders and stocks supplies. Job Duties Produce quality images for Radiologist review. Prepare accurate records and verify orders in chart. Manipulate computerized image data to obtain interpretive information and archive the data. Administer contrast media under the direction of a physician and in accordance with department policy. Requirements Completion of an accredited education program in Imaging Sciences. Active KBMIRT required at time of hire. ARRT registered in Radiography Registry. Eligible candidates are required to obtain CT certification within one year of employment. Preferred Requirements AART CT registry. Benefits Tuition Assistance reimbursement program.
