This opportunity is based on a Forklift Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesOperate Cherry Picker and Stand-Up Reach forklifts safely and efficiently.Pick, pull, and replenish product from elevated rack locations.Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.Accurately process orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.Verify inventory counts and product locations.Perform cycle counts and inventory audits as assigned.Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety concerns.Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.Maintain productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsMinimum 1 year of recent Cherry Picker experience required.Minimum 1 year of recent Stand-Up Reach Forklift experience required.Ability to pass a forklift/equipment operation assessment.Experience using RF scanners preferred.Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable attendance and punctuality requiredPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.Comfortable working at elevated heights while operating equipment.Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.BenefitsCompetitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life Insurance and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Safety-Focused Warehouse Environment with opportunities for advancement and continued equipment training.About UsAt Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
