Position: Showroom Associate (Part-Time) Location: Truckee, CA (In-Person) Duration: June through September 2026 Compensation: $30/hour We are seeking a part-time Showroom Associate to join our team for the summer season. This is a dynamic, on-the-floor role ideally suited for someone with a passion for interior design and a keen interest in the unique aesthetic of the Truckee/Tahoe region. About the Role: As our Showroom Associate, you will act as a design liaison and will be the first point of contact for homeowners and clients visiting our local studio. You'll provide thoughtful guidance on product selection, assist with interior styling ideas, and support our design team in creating a welcoming, curated experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a professional background in a related field who is looking to explore the design world in a hands‑on, client-facing environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist showroom visitors, offering product knowledge and design inspiration Support our in-house designers with floor merchandising and client coordination Communicate confidently and professionally with homeowners, vendors, and industry partners Maintain showroom appearance, inventory organization, and merchandising standards Help facilitate the client experience from initial inquiry through purchase coordination Who You Are: Enthusiastic about interior design, with a particular appreciation for mountain modern and lake-inspired aesthetics Professional, polished, and comfortable working with high‑end clientele Strong communicator with a warm, engaging demeanor Experienced in customer service, retail, or a design-adjacent field (interior design, real estate, hospitality, etc.) Self‑motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment Familiarity with the Truckee/Tahoe area and its design sensibility is a plus Schedule: This is a part-time, in-person role with primary coverage needed Thursday through Sundays from June through September .
