About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst (w/m/d) with a focus on process management to join our team in Cologne. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and optimize the organization’s internal processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our process landscape, working closely with various departments to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices. This position is based in Cologne, with a permanent employment contract and full-time hours, offering a chance to contribute meaningfully to a socially responsible organization committed to sustainable growth and employee development. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in fields such as Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related discipline. However, more critical are strong analytical and conceptual skills, complemented by at least three years of professional experience in process management, analysis, and optimization. Proficiency in process modeling methodologies, particularly BPMN 2.0, and hands-on experience with process modeling tools like Adonis, BIC Process Design, or Signavio are essential. A keen interest in digital transformation, project management, and organizational development is required, along with familiarity with tools such as Confluence and JIRA. The candidate must demonstrate a structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach, coupled with excellent communication skills in German at C2 level. Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also vital. Responsibilities Collaborate with the team to actively shape and continuously develop the process management framework, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Serve as a key contact for the Fachbereiche (specialist departments) regarding process modeling and documentation, providing expert guidance and support. Contribute to the expansion of the enterprise-wide process model and the development of process standards, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks such as DORA. Analyze and model business processes in cooperation with various departments, identifying potential efficiencies and areas for improvement. Facilitate process change initiatives through the moderation of workshops and coordination of cross-departmental discussions to ensure smooth implementation and stakeholder buy-in.
