Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. This role involves greeting and engaging customers, processing sales and loan transactions, handling cash and negotiable items, and maintaining the sales floor. Responsibilities Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise. Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items following company policies. Answers incoming calls according to company standards. Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates with coworkers and managers, demonstrating respect and effective teamwork. Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience. Successfully completes assigned training. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required. May be asked to assist customers outside the store or retrieve products from exterior storage areas. Minimum age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with basic math calculations. Cash handling experience is preferred. Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate, able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
