Work Environment\n

This role is designed to support a balanced lifestyle by offering the convenience of remote work. Clinicians are expected to follow a structured schedule, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you can maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering essential mental health services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients, using tools such as standardized screening questionnaires and structured clinical interviews.

• Collaborate closely with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that are informed by their unique needs, goals, and personal experiences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to suit each client’s preferences.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and practical self-care strategies to enhance their daily functioning.

• Continuously monitor clients' progress throughout the therapeutic process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated and integrated care, ensuring all aspects of the client’s treatment are addressed.

• Stay informed about the latest research developments and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance clinical effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois is mandatory.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities related to mood disorders, including CBT and DBT, is essential.
