Therapeutic Horizon Behavioral Health Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate mental health therapists for our full-time telehealth positions. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals and families coping with a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, leveraging telehealth technology to deliver care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. You will utilize a HIPAA-compliant platform to conduct therapy sessions, document patient progress, and collaborate with other professionals seamlessly. Our practice supports a flexible work schedule, primarily operating Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the understanding that some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate the patient’s goals and preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate positive behavioral changes.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering communal support and understanding of mental health challenges.
\n
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and various health professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and access to appropriate resources.

• Deliver patient and family education about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and available community support services.

• Maintain accurate and secure patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance care coordination and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with established evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Experience with both individual and group therapy settings, catering to diverse populations.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing for the effective sharing of clinical insights and fostering patient rapport.

• Uphold professional ethics with sound judgment and boundary management.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with specialized populations such as adolescents, veterans, or individuals with co-occurring disorders is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
