Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to understand clients' challenges and strengths comprehensively.

• Collaborate closely with clients to establish individualized treatment plans that take into account their specific needs, personal goals, and cultural perspectives.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in various therapeutic settings, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Deliver crisis intervention services when necessary, providing immediate support and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure complete continuity of care for patients in acute emotional distress.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per clinic policies and applicable regulations.
\n
• Offer education and resources to clients and their families, equipping them with skills and knowledge to actively manage their mental health challenges and foster resilience.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team,including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for patients.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.

• Stay current with research developments, best practices, and emerging trends in the mental health field to enhance clinical efficacy and patient care.

• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times, fostering trust and integrity in the therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently while also being an effective team player within a multidisciplinary context.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients from diverse cultural and demographic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required. We value candidates who possess additional training or certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities, as well as those who have experience working in outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 – $84,000, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
