Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history, guiding the formulation of effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, leveraging therapeutic frameworks such as EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that promote safe spaces for patients to express their experiences, develop coping skills, and navigate their healing process.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to coordinate integrated care, tailoring interventions to meet the evolving needs of each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies and ensure continuity of care by being available for urgent patient needs.

• Educate patients and their families about understanding trauma responses, available coping strategies, and resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of patient sessions in compliance with legal and ethical standards utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• A current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong knowledge and experience in managing trauma-related disorders and employing trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor that fosters trust.

• Proficiency in utilizing digital tools and EHR systems for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
