Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. You will be expected to work during standard business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions, determining symptom severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to create and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize their specific needs and objectives.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in their mental health journeys.

• Provide education to clients and their families regarding treatment options, managing symptoms, and promoting strategies for self-care and coping.

• Monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, particularly related to mood disorders, to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain detailed documentation of sessions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accurate record-keeping.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss client care and professional development.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working towards de-stigmatizing mental health issues and promoting access to essential resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n
