As a vital member of our mental health care team, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma, providing compassionate and informed therapy to help them navigate their healing journeys. Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a balanced work-life schedule. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional adjustments based on patient needs. You will become part of a collaborative and supportive team focused on trauma-informed care practices.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and determine the best therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, aiming for trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting overall healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other clinicians to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering support to clients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to ongoing professional development in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily engage with individuals suffering from the effects of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Our patient population often consists of survivors of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic experiences, making a compassionate and expertly informed approach essential to the therapeutic process. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC in the state of Illinois is required.
